BEXT TS enables you to choose your operational transport service and manage transport plans, labels, EDI announcements and delivery tracking, according to the carriers' format.
BEXT TS natively calculates the tracking number according to the carrier's specifications, and edits the label to be used on the carrier's logistics network. This step can be triggered at any point in the process, automatically or on the operator's initiative, including at order launch, enabling the transport label to be merged with the parcel label.
BEXT TS integrates all carrier events and filters them according to your needs, e.g. pick-up date, customer delivery date, blocking events. Using a correspondence table, BEXT TS provides you with a uniform vocabulary common to all transport orders, and enables you to use a configurable e-mail alert system concerning missed deadlines, incidents, etc.
BEXT TS enables you to choose the most suitable carrier/transport service pairing, according to multiple criteria: destination, particular customer, parcel dimensions, oversized products, sensitive products, Saturday delivery, ad valorem, best price, etc. This choice can be made automatically, based on the customer's needs. This choice can be made automatically, guided or entirely manually.
Whether BEXT TS is interfaced with another WMS, with BEWT WS, or simply with all functionalities installed on the same instance (WMS + TMS pointing to the same base), your supply chain is in good hands. Receiving, preparation, dispatch, carrier selection, transport plan management, labeling, EDI notification and delivery tracking are all taken care of thanks to the completeness of the BEXT software suite. With native links to numerous carriers, our software ensures upstream/downstream traceability in all sectors.
Our TMS experts have developed native links with numerous carriers for a wide range of transport services. This involves subcontracting the management of tracking ranges and carrier accounts to the TMS, enabling it to be used without an external connection (ultra-secure, mechanized environments, etc.). BEXT TS also enables you to use Label Webservices for carriers offering this functionality. In this case, there's no need to manage the transport plan or EDI announcements, as the carrier's IS supplies the pre-printed label directly, for each request made by BEXT.
The Labeling module reduces the sources of delivery errors, makes delivery times more reliable, and facilitates incident resolution.
