PENTA has been a WMS and WCS editor from the outset, with two strong biases: real time and the central role of the radio terminal.

1997: Founded

Founded in 1997, P.E.N.T.A - Pilotage d'entrepôt automatisé - develops radio terminals and the first software to dispatch storage and retrieval tasks to operators in real time. Building on this innovation, PENTA forges a close collaboration with Jungheinrich, Europe's leading forklift manufacturer, resulting in the launch of the first GETRA System WMS and numerous customer references.

1998: Real time

PENTA embraces Wifi by forging a partnership with American giant Symbol Technologies, and builds the manufacturer's largest real-time logistics pilot site in the USA. At the same time, it integrates this real-time revolution into its Penta WMS software.

2001: Richard Flamée Group

PENTA joins the Belgian Richard Flamée Group, whose main field of activity is the steel industry, and develops its own WCS associated with its WMS, to automate logistics. The company has numerous reference sites that combine its software solutions with radio terminals and automated systems.

2010: CFD

PENTA joins the CFD group's Supply Chain Division. Backed by the Group's long-term vision, PENTA works to enrich its solution, as customer projects progress, with multiple interfaces to the market's leading ERPs and automated systems suppliers.

2015 : Primus

PENTA forges a major commercial partnership with PRIMUS, publisher of the Primus Wine ERP, renowned in the wine, spirits and wine industry. PENTA acquires numerous references in wine logistics as part of this collaboration.

2022: Customer loyalty

For over 30 years, PENTA has been offering WMS/WCS solutions that have won the loyalty of numerous customers in all sectors. Since 1991, PENTA WMS/WCS solutions have been at the heart of logistics for UD Flammarion, a benchmark in book distribution.

PENTA has numerous references in the world of wine. In 2015, it forged a partnership with publisher Primus, further strengthening this sector expertise.
